  • Amanda
    Veterinary Nurse

    Amanda joined our team in November 2014, she completed her Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing at Victoria University Werribee in 2009. From there she moved back to her home town Wodonga and worked as a nurse for two and a half years, missing the city life too much she moved back to Melbourne in 2013 with her 2 cats Kimba & Slash. Amanda enjoys going to the gym, playing video games and going out with friends.

  • Courtney
    Veterinary Nurse

    Courtney joined our clinic in July 2014 as a trainee Veterinary nurse. Courtney completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2016. Courtney is also a qualified Registered Nurse, completing a Bachelor of Nursing in 2013. She is a passionate horse rider and when not at the clinic is most likely to be at the paddock. Courtney has a Miniature Schnauzer called Cindy and a Quarter Horse called Indy. She has a passion for animals and her interests include surgery, small animal and equine nursing.

  • Kylie
    Head Veterinary Nurse

    Kylie, a certified veterinary nurse, commenced working for us after she completed her vet nursing studies with us in 2010. You are likely to meet Kylie at the reception desk when your pet comes in for a consultation, or if your pet is in for surgery.

    Since finishing High School in 2005, she studied various courses such as creative writing & business management. Once coming to her senses Kylie completed her Certificate III in Companion Animal Services and then went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at the end of 2010.

    Kylie was promoted to Head Veterinary Nurse in July 2014.

    Kylie has a particular interest in canine health and behaviour and outside of work her interests include reading, shopping & catching up with friends and family

    Kylie has a cheeky West Highland Terrier called Noah and a Rottweiler called Chunx, whom she loves dearly.

  • Maddison
    Veterinary Nurse Trainee

    Maddison joined our team in 2014 as a kennel hand after doing work experience at the clinic. Maddison has  completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies and is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. As part of her study she will be doing her nurse training here at the clinic. When Maddison is not working or studying your most likely to find her on the basketball court or spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Ivy.

  • Sarah
    Veterinary Nurse

    Sarah completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2010 and joined our team in June 2015. Sarah thoroughly enjoys surgical nursing and in particular dental procedures. You may meet her at reception or if your pet comes in for surgery. Outside of work Sarah is kept busy by her four dogs, three cats and four birds. She likes spending her free time with family and friends, attending the local football or cheering along with the rest of the Richmond fans at the AFL.

  • Kathleen
    Veterinary Nurse

    Kathleen loves working at the Altona Veterinary Clinic and has been here since 2002. She has her advanced nursing qualifications and loves all aspects of veterinary nursing. You are likely to see Kathleen greeting your pet at reception.

    Kathleen is very much interested in wildlife and cat adoption. She has a whippet called Nel who is a great companion for her cat Dash.

    Outside of the clinic she wears another hat as administrator of the Altona Baptist Church.

    Trainee Veterinary Nurse

    Elise joined our team in January 2017 to complete her nurse training while she is studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is enjoying meeting all of our lovely clients and their pets. Elise started a career in Education, however quickly realised that animals were where her true passion was. Elise has a strong passion for surgical nursing and animal welfare. When Elise is not at Altona or TAFE, she enjoys swimming, trying great new restaurants and taking her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Brodie out and about.
